Happy November! This is a big month around here because my 30th birthday and my blogiversary are on 11/11, my mom’s birthday is this month on Thanksgiving and then Christmas will be here before we know it! Since holiday parties will be starting soon, I’ve teamed up with Milani to show you a 5 minute Holiday Party look to transition your makeup from day at the office to holiday glam.
We’re all busy, so it’s important to be able to get your evening look together quickly and possibly even in the car or company bathroom before jetting out to your next get together! With that in mind, here’s my go-to daytime makeup: (I usually try to at least get my foundation on before leaving the house, the rest I may or may not finish before making it in the office.)
Foundation
Bronzer
Blush
Gloss
Eyeliner
Mascara
Brow gel (I have added this to my necessity day to day products list because it makes such a difference! I’m wearing Milani Stay Put Brow Color in Medium Brown in these photos)
So now that you’ve got your basic day makeup in place, here’s how to whip up a quick holiday look in 5 minutes flat.
5 Minute Holiday Party Makeup Tutorial:
1. Dab on Milani eyeshadow primer on to help your eye makeup stay in place all night.
2. Place gold toned shimmery shadow in inner corner of eyelid. Gently glide the tip of the application brush in Milani Fierce Foil Black Gold Foil Eyeliner over color. Swipe brush along lash line from inner to outer corner of the eye to darken eyeliner already in place and extend out a little further to make a cat eye. Then using the same brush and color, blend upward from the lash line to the crease.
3. Dot Supreme Kajal eyeliner in Blackest Black in between each lash on lower lash line.
4. Swipe on a bright colored lip color. I love my Milani Uptown Mauve but I’d recommend some of their new fall colors if you’re looking for something new to try:Â Bahama Beige, Tuscan Toast, Blushing Beauty or Brandy Berry.
