Beauty Bits: Blue Eyes

I’m really excited to team up with The Style Gathering & Style Briefs to bring you Beauty Bits, our new “column” to make sure you’ve got all the latest and greatest beauty finds. First up on my end? This daring Covergirl ink it! aquamarine eye liner. At first, it seems like a lot of effort, a little too crazy, and just a bit out there. ’80’s reminiscent anyone? However, after seeing my ever so stylish friend Claire try it out, I decided “Why the heck not?” And…I’m so glad I did!

If I can pull this off, you can too. Instead of thinking of this as an extra step to try out in your makeup routine, let it simplify your go-to day look. Using blue eye liner has actually cut down on my morning prep time. Instead of feeling like I have to put on a whole eye look, instead I just swipe on this blue on the bottom lash line or if I want to dress it up more, I put it on the upper lash line as well. Using this blue eye liner gives my eyes that extra pop without taking the time to apply multiple colors of eyeshadow for the crease, lid, and highlighter.
