Y’all know my love for meal planning runs deep and for a good reason! Meal planning is the difference between me sticking with my FWTFL routine and providing healthy meals for my family or me settling for less beneficial food choices simply because the days are so busy!Â
A couple of weeks ago, I shared My Step By Step Meal Planning Video and you can click HERE to watch it! Ultimately, taking a few minutes at the beginning of the week to save you tons of time. Not to mention, the headache you won’t have throughout the week.
Â
The Printable:
After launching the video and hearing your feedback, I thought it might be helpful to have a tangible print out for you to use each weekend when you sit down to meal plan. You can click HERE to download the free printable which includes a blank space for you to plan your meals and write your shopping list!
Meal planning also allows me to stick to our food budget and not overspend on groceries or meals. One tool I use that helps me save money by meal planning is the Ibotta App. This app allows me to earn cashback for all my purchases, which I can put towards savings as well as keeping me on track with my budget. The app combined with my meal planning printables has been a game-changer for me.Â
More Resources:
If you watched the meal planning video or read my tips on the printable, you know I always hunt for a good deal at the grocery store! By checking the sales circular, BOGO items, or using apps like Ibotta, checking for deals can be a game-changer in saving money and keeping your grocery bill low. What I love about Ibotta is you can easily find deals after you grocery shop if you end up running out of time prior to heading to the grocery store.Â
Ibotta has a WIDE variety of retailers listed in the app – all of my favorites for sure! Stores like Aldi, Costco, Amazon, and more! You simply search for the store you stopped at and search for the items you bought. Then add offers to your account, and upload your receipt. Once you’ve reached $20 in your account, you can withdraw it directly to your bank account. You can also get a gift card. As busy wives and mothers, I’m sure y’all can relate to loving the convenience of the app and saving money!Â
