WHAT IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale features NEW items for fall and winter with a huge discount up to 40% off! As it is hitting the shelves it will be discounted. For a limited time, Nordstrom takes brand-new, just-arrived styles and offer them to YOU at super-sale prices. there will be major savings on the hottest trends and brands for men, women and kids. When the event ends, all remaining sale items will be sold at full price. Let me tell you though sister friend, things will sell out QUICKLY. Before it even opens to the public, some things are gone.
WHEN DOES THE SALE START?
Early Access will only be available to Nordstrom debit and credit card holders July 12-July 19 but it will open up to the public on July 20th and will be open until August 5th.
In addition to the Early Access benefit, Level 4 Nordstrom cardmembers get to shop our biggest event of the year one day before the start of Early Access. In Nordstrom stores only.

HOW DO I GET EARLY ACCESS?
You must be a cardholder. Sign up for a Nordstrom credit card by July 8th. I’ll be honest, I’m not a big credit card person so I don’t have the Nordstrom credit card. We have two credit cards that we use specifically for travel/points and that’s it. BUT, if you are considering getting the Nordstrom card, here’s what you need to know.
There are two options(1) Nordstrom Rewards and (2)Visa Plantinum and Visa Signature
(1) Nordstrom Retail: Earn two points per dollar spent in stores and online at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, HauteLook and Trunk Club.
(2) The same benefits as the Nordstrom retail card, plus one point earned per dollar spent everywhere else Visa credit cards are accepted. Enjoy other Visa Platinum or Visa Signature benefits, too. Earn Nordstrom points anytime you use it for a purchase. If approved you can start shopping immediately.

My best piece of advice is to PLAN. Make a list of what you need…typically staple pieces are huge for me during this sale. I want to get quality pieces at a discount so that I can have more money saved around Christmas when I typically would be buying these cooler weather type styles. View this as an opportunity to save money on your wardrobe this year. But without a list keeping you on track, that won’t happen. Write down if you need denim, new tops, work wear, a new winter coat, booties, etc and let that be your guideline!
WHAT ITEMS TO KEEP YOUR EYE ON WHEN SHOPPING THE SALE.
Shoes always go first it seems in the sale…so start there! I can almost guarantee you that some of the items you want will sell out, but lots of it will re-stock too. So stay tuned via my email and IG story updates for any and all re-stocks, things to look for, etc.
Knock out Christmas shopping early. This is the time to get more expensive gifts for your friends and family at a huge discount. You will end up saving so much and getting great high end pieces at a major discount. Those fall and winter staples such as boots, sweaters, and jeans tend to be the most discounted and these items will sell out fast! Also don’t forget those designer handbags you have had your eye on this summer! Handbags are also a popular item that will be heavily discounted and sought after!
