Styling Orange

It can be hard to strike a happy medium for game day fashion after your college years. You don’t want to dress up too much in a short little dress like your college date days but you also don’t want to wear a jersey and sweat pants and “slum” it. I hope this Football Friday series give you lots of orange game day ideas.

I’ve styled 3 orange outfits for game day this year and you can see even more of my previous Auburn looks below as well as some of my blogging friends who have styled orange. I styled this outfit for comfort and practicality. I love that the tie-dyed shirt is loose and flowy in case I want to indulge in some pre-game appetizers and some moveable comfortable black skinny jeans with rips. My Michael Kors bag can easily be thrown cross-body and the booties give me a little height while still being super comfortable. Although, if you’re headed in the game, remember you’ll need your see-through purse.

I’ve got Leyton in his complimentary blue outfit with me to complete our subtle Auburn game day fashion pairing. 🙂 I really love this little casual outfit on hime because that ombre “L” has stitching in awesome hues of blue. He always gets compliments on it when he wears it. We found it in the Hazel and Ollie Etsy store, which is where I also got this necklace I’m wearing. I love supporting small shops like this when we can!

Speaking of supporting local shops, I’m thrilled to have a new southeastern based shop in Auburn called Entourage. It was started by Katie who gives 10% of all proceeds back to charity. Sadly, we were supposed to go to the Auburn/Arkansas game this weekend but since it’s such a late start, we can’t go anymore. By the time we got home from Auburn (2 hours away from Birmingham) and picked up Leyton from the babysitter, we wouldn’t get home till after 1 am and we are driving 7.5 hours to visit my in-laws on Sunday.
