Y’all know that my love for Pure Barre runs deep. Not only was I a Pure Barre teacher for close to a decade, but I’ve loved Pure Barre workouts for even longer. I even taught Pure Barre while I was pregnant and postpartum! If you’ve never tried Pure Barre, you’re in for an incredible workout. And if you’ve done it before, you know how effective it is. A barre workout targets specific areas of the body with small movements that make a big impact. You will feel the burn, I promise!
With our lives being largely lived from home, I wanted to share some of my favorite barre at home must-haves with y’all. I have been taking my home studio’s online classes (shout out to Pure Barre Homewood!) a few times a week and would encourage you to do the same if you have a local studio you can support in any way! You can still get your favorite workout at home; whether that is outside, in your basement, or even the laundry room. Make time for it friends, it will be worth it!
As I showed y’all in my booty blast workout, you can use any support you have around you as your barre whether it be a chair, window sill, countertop, or desk! Other than that, you can workout barefoot if you don’t have barre socks, use a towel if you don’t have a yoga mat, and use water bottles or soup cans if needed for light weights (or no weights at all).
