With summer quickly approaching, I have fresh salads on my mind! Something about all the colors in a salad, the blend of veggies + fruit, and a sweet dressing always makes me think of SUMMER! After traveling for the last 10+ days and indulging in one too many cheat meals, I’m thankful this salad post is here to get me back on track as we jump into our normal routine and rhythm at home. And did you know May is actually National Salad Month?? Perfect timing!
I am sharing 5 of my all-time favorite summer salad recipes with you today that are all 7 ingredients or LESS! Don’t forget about myFavorite Tuna Salad Recipe I shared last fall that is also Paleo and Whole30 approved.
Along with the recipes, I have the best #momhack to share that will help keep your fruits and veggies fresher for longer. Rubbermaid FreshWorks containers are designed to keep your produce fresh with their FreshVent lid and CrispTray at the bottom working simultaneously to regulate airflow and ultimately reduce spoilage! The key is to remove your produce from store packaging immediately and replace in a FreshWorks container once you get home from the store. Then, wait to wash and cut your fruits and veggies until you are ready to eat them! 🙂 I hate wasting money by throwing out fresh produce that has spoiled which is why I LOVE this hack!! See the amazing side by sides of my produce kept in store packaging vs FreshWorks below!
