Style the Bump: Jumpsuit

The black jumpsuit from yesterday’s Wedding Wear post got me all pumped up on the jumpsuit trend. And since I can’t rock very many of them while pregnant, I decided to dream a little about what I would wear this summer if the trend was in my favor. My jumpsuit as well as the jewelry from the photos above are from Banana Republic outlet. I got my jumpsuit 50% off and learned an invaluable trick from my brother-in-law and sister I practiced in this purchase. They both have worked in retail and told me it’s really common for people to ask a manager for a discount.

I gave it a shot at Banana Republic during their Memorial Day sale and the manager told me there may still be an old code he could use for another 20% off. He typed in a few keys in the computer and said, “Oh, yep! The code still worked.” So I got my jumpsuit for a steal! I was so excited. I have also used this trick at 2 other stores now and gotten $10 off my purchase and an additional 15% off. The hubs told my sister that she has created a monster. 😉 I just can’t help that I love a good bargain! This jumpsuit was originally $90 but after all the discounts, I got it for only $35.99! You’ll see that many of the jumpsuits and rompers below are on sale too, so happy shopping!

My Style the Bump series is meant to help all my preggo’s feel a little more inspired to rock some different looks other than maxi skirts and a tank, which hey, no judgement if that’s the route you’re going. I totally rock that staple some days to work.
