Football Friday: Styling Orange

War Eagle, HEY! I’ve teamed up with several other fashion bloggers to help you style one of the most difficult colors in college football to make look good…orange! While it can be a challenge, we are going to show you several different ways you can make your orange football style be more chic and less daunting. Whether you are a Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas, Illinois, Clemson or Virginia Tech football fan, we’ve got you covered.

My go-to, as you all know by now, for ease and feeling put together is a dress. When we watch games with family and friends, this is how you may find my little man and I dressed. I love this dress as a fall transition piece! It’s got little sleeves and is a sweater dress and I like the blue and white scarf to break it up a bit. And my favorite part about this whole outfit may be the earrings! I love a good tassel earring, especially when it comes from a Farihope, Alabama designer’s Etsy shop! You have got to check out Sprouts Designs!

Now, where you live, you may need those sleeves soon and even a scarf but here in Birmingham, it’s still in the 90’s! We’ll see what the weather holds in the upcoming weeks. Don’t worry, my next post has a cooler version of orange for my further south ladies with some pieces I got from the new store in Auburn, Entourage Clothing!

You may notice in some of the pictures above that Leyton looks a little scared. During one of the photos a HUGE clap of thunder hit and lightning and my poor little guy burst into tears. As you can imagine, that ended his part of the shoot. Luckily, Casey Marie Photography hung in there with me for a few more shots but got soaked in the process! It was quite an interesting photo shoot day.
